Since 1881, the company Serena Wines, located in the heart of the Prosecco region, has constantly been improving and innovating its production. Throughout the evolutionary process, the company has maintained its attention to product quality, market demands and above all, customer needs unchanged over time.
Finally, after years of postponements, expectations and suspensions, last August the official start was given to put the wine into fermentation according to the Charmat method and today it is ready to be tasted. The long-awaited new entry into the Prosecco DOC world is its ROSÉ version of which the Serena company ranks among the top producers.
A blend of Glera and Pinot Nero, the only authorized red berried grape, Prosecco DOC Rosé is made of grapes from various parts of the Veneto region, namely: Treviso, Padua and Venice. The pale pink color, which characterizes this new version of Prosecco DOC, makes it fine and elegant. The two months of fermentation give this new wine a lively perlage and a richness in fruity notes.
Prosecco DOC Rosé is pleasant and harmonious on the palate and it is excellent as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to appetizers and fish first courses.
